5th International Games Sense Conference, Monday 3 – Wednesday 5 July, Kent Town, Adelaide. The conference will feature some of the leading figures in game-based approaches for teaching and coaching from Europe, Australia and New Zealand. It will provide a forum in which academics and practitioners can meet, engage in dialogue, learn and develop the teaching of games and sport in a collaborative environment. The ‘Mindful Teacher’ online course is a five week x approximately 1 hour, introductory program tailored specifically for teachers / educators. The course includes a balance of learning about mindfulness, and practice. We cover: an introduction to Mindfulness, techniques and practices, becoming mindful in the classroom, managing work/life balance and building a Teacher’s Toolbox of five minute mindfulness techniques, $125.
