TRB Registration workshop
During late June and early July the TRB is conducting four free information sessions on registration topics. Each presentation will consist of two sessions, registration renewal and transitioning from provisional to (full) registration. This is a great opportunity to come along for information and clarification on registration matters.
  • Wednesday 28 June at EDC Hindmarsh from 4:00pm for questions, session starts 4:30 – 6:30pm (week 9, Term 2). Session filling fast, book now!
  • Monday 10 July at Noarlunga (Hickenbotham Oval) 1:00pm – 4:00pm (first week school holidays)
  • Wednesday 12 July at Hartley Institute from 1:00pm – 4:00pm (first week of school holidays)
  • Thursday 13 July at Mawson Lakes (Uni SA) 1:00pm 4:00pm (first week school holidays)

Professional learning opportunities
Teaching Jane Austen is a professional learning workshop for secondary school teachers that offers valuable insight into teaching Austen’s juvenilia and novels, contextualising her place within the Romantic and Regency periods, and studying Austen on the screen. The $22 entry fee includes light refreshments and a certificate of attendance. Friday 14 July, 2pm - 5pm at Flinders in the City, 182 Victoria Square, Adelaide. Little Lessons Australia presents a positive behaviour workshop with Mark Le Messurier for primary and secondary school teachers: Tricky student behaviour and savvy ways to deal with it! The Australian Science and Maths School, DECD and the Advanced Technology Project, with the support of the Science Teachers Association (SA) are holding the Girls in STEM Showcase on Monday 19 June at the Education Development Centre, Milner Street, Hindmarsh, 9.00am to 3.30pm. Katrina Elliott, Strategic Design Project Officer, Mathematics and Science, DECD will address ‘Building Positive Dispositions for Girls in STEM’. Register by 15 June here.

PASCO professional learning workshop, Full STEM ahead – 2 is being held on Thursday 29 June, 4:00pm-6:30pm in the Physics lab at Westminster School.
