Teaching Unregistered The Board conducts an annual survey of all those employed as teachers, administrators or supervisors of any course of instruction in pre-school, primary or secondary education in Government or registered non-Government schools or kindergartens to ensure they are registered as teachers. The onus is on all teachers to ensure they are registered.   Teacher registration is for a period of three years. A person who continues employment as a teacher without registration is liable to a fine under the Teachers Registration and Standards Act 2004 and Regulations 2005.
