World Teachers Day - Friday 25 October 2019

World Teachers Day 2019 was celebrated on Friday 25 October. The theme for 2019 was:

 “Young Teachers: The future of the Profession.”

Educators SA World Teachers Day Award Ceremony

On Friday 25 October educators gathered from around South Australia to celebrate the teaching profession at the Educators SA World Teachers Day Awards. More than 70 awards were presented on the night to outstanding educators who were nominated by their peers.

Mike Chartres from the Primary Maths Association was the winner of the TRB Induction & Mentoring - Early Careers Award for his tireless mentoring and support of early career teachers. Mike is pictured above with Nigel Laity, Manager of Policy and Strategic Development at the TRB.
