Australian Teacher Workforce Data (ATWD) Teacher Survey
All Teachers Registered in South Australia were sent an email on Wednesday, August 25 inviting them to participate in the Australian Teacher Workforce Data Teacher (ATWD) survey.
The link in the email will provide you access to the survey, which is being conducted by AITSL as part of the broader ATWD project.
The initiative is delivering an evolving picture of the national teacher workforce, from initial teacher education through all stages of the teacher career and across all states, territories and employer sectors.
The ATWD is exploring key areas such as the supply of teachers, career pathways and the challenges teachers face, such as time spent on teaching and other activities, working hours and out-of-field teaching.
The Teachers Registration Board of South Australia is committed to quality teaching and believes the ATWD will be a valuable, evidence-based workforce planning resource that will help ensure teachers are well-supported and schools are well-resourced to deliver quality learning for all Australian children.
