29th ACHPER International Conference - A Professional Learning opportunity
  
Teaching is a lifelong profession, as demonstrated by the 13 thousand renewals the Teachers Registration Board has processed over the past four months. It’s great to see so many educators keen to remain on their learning journey and we hope you continue to accumulate and disseminate knowledge in fun and interesting ways in 2015.
 

Interesting facts from our peak renewal period:

- Almost 4,000 renewing teachers have maintained their registration since 1976

- Seventy five percent of renewing teachers have maintained their registration for more than 10 years

- The highest number of applications we received in one month: 5,537

- We processed 90% of applications within two days

The Teachers Registration Board would like to extend our thanks to all teachers, new and experienced, for their dedication to the profession.

29th Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation (ACHPER) International Conference - A Professional Learning Opportunity

Are you a registered teacher with a passion for health and wellbeing?

Opportunities are now available for registered teachers to receive sponsorship to attend the 29th ACHPER International Conference being held in Adelaide in April, 2015.

 
Annual Survey of Teachers 2015

Each year the Teacher’s Registration Board conducts the Annual Survey of Teachers. This survey, conducted in conjunction with schools and teacher employers, is designed to ensure that only registered teachers are teaching in South Australian schools and education sites.

This year the survey will be conducted on Monday 9th February with respondents required to provide information on staff changes and current staffing at their sites.
