Transitioning to (full) registration

In response to the many enquiries regarding transition from provisional to (full) registration (TPR):
  • From 2013, a person may be registered for two 3 year terms of provisional registration only, as outlined in this chart.

  • During your term of provisional registration you are expected to complete 200 days of teaching service and apply to transition to (full) registration. Employment as a teacher (including early childhood teacher and TRT) at schools in Australia or New Zealand or preschools and long day care centres in South Australia can count towards your 200 days.
  • The TPR process is separate to renewal of registration and applications should be submitted once requirements are met.
For further information on the TPR process please read the FAQs on our website.

Back to basics
The Neil Sachse Foundation is involved in a long standing endeavour to find a cure for Spinal Cord Injury; however, prevention, through education and awareness, is the best outcome.

The Foundation with support from the SA Government has developed Back to Basics an online program for both primary and secondary students.

The program uses videos and games to teach children about the important role of the spinal cord, causes of spinal cord injury and how to manage a suspected spinal cord injury.
