	Renewal of registration has moved online

	If your registration is due to expire on 31 January 2017, your renewal application will be available on the Teachers Portal from 17 October 2016. If you do not currently have a Teachers Portal account you will need to set one up as soon as possible to prevent any delays in renewing your registration. You can set up your account via the TRB website here. To guide you through the process you can watch our three minute instruction video here or contact the Board on 8226 2666.
	Your completed renewal application must be submitted by the due date of 31 December 2016. To check your expiry date search the Register of Teachers.

Conference wrap up

Thank you to everyone who attended our conference. We hope you enjoyed the range of speakers and took away plenty of useful information and ideas about what defines a profession and what we can do to continue to strengthen and promote the teaching profession. At the conference we released the much anticipated Professional Learning Report which you can read here. If you missed the conference you can watch the key presentations and find other information from the day on our website. Finally we would like to thank all of our presenters and everyone who was involved in making it such a fantastic day.
