APY Lands visit

Earlier this year our Registrar Dr Peter Lind was fortunate to visit the beautiful Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands with Paul Newman, Education Director, Aṉangu Lands Partnership, DECD. Their visit took in the Ernabella, Fregon, Kenmore Park, Indulkna and Amata schools, five of nine Anangu schools situated on the Lands in the far northwest corner of South Australia.

For many students Pitjantjatjara or Yankunytjatjara is their first language and students are only introduced to English when they start school. You can see more pictures of this beautiful country on our website.
