Induction and mentoring research – volunteers needed
  
 
The Teachers Registration Board is conducting a 12 month Induction and Mentoring Project that aims to collect and review information on best practice induction and mentoring. The project will make recommendations to assist provisionally registered teachers to transition to (full) registration in a timely manner.
 
The Board will be conducting focus group interviews with teachers across metropolitan and regional South Australia in early 2017. If you have recently undertaken or are currently involved in a supportive induction and/or mentoring process to enable transition to (full) registration we are keen to hear your story. We would like to engage both inductees and mentors in the project. For further information click here.

RACI Chemical Education Group is holding a Chemistry Teachers’ Workshop at the University of Adelaide on Friday 9 December, 8:30am – 5:00pm. This will include a presentation by Dr. Justin Chalker of Flinders University, hands-on laboratory activities, and will provide ideas and information suitable for teachers of senior chemistry.
