Australia Day awards
 
 
Congratulations to Patricia Buckskin for being an SA finalist for Senior Australian of the Year 2017. A proud Narungga woman, she has had a lifelong passion for Aboriginal education which started in 1972 when she was appointed to Mansfield Park Primary School as its first Aboriginal teacher aide. Patricia was also instrumental in setting up the Kaurna Plains Aboriginal School.

Another South Australian educator, Professor Alan Reid, was a state finalist for Australian of the Year. Alan has spent more than four decades in education including policy, professional practice and classroom-based work. Alan also co-founded the Australian Foundation for Fostering Learning in the Philippines.

PASCO workshop: Full STEM Ahead, for all schools and Science Learning areas currently using PASCO technologies, schools who are considering implementation of data logging or others looking for general professional learning on data logging activities in the classroom.
