Australasian Teacher Regulatory Authorities Annual General Meeting
 
 
The TRB is a member of the Australasian Teacher Regulatory Authorities (ATRA) an incorporated association established by teacher registration and accreditation authorities across Australia and New Zealand.
 
ATRA works to facilitate cooperation and collaboration between its members in the regulation of the teaching profession. ATRA’s Annual General Meeting was held in Adelaide during September and members were joined by The Hon. Simon Birmingham MP to discuss a range of topics including transition plans for initial teacher education programs, professional learning guidelines, specialisations for new primary teachers, and a national review of teacher registration. Professional learning opportunities
Principals Australia Institute is holding a one-day Teacher Wellbeing workshop designed to enable teachers and school staff members to build resilience in and out of the classroom. Being held at DECD, 3/7 Mortlock Terrace, Port Lincoln, Tuesday 21 November from 9:00am – 4:00pm, $395. Register here.
 
Gowrie SA is holding The Emerging Languages of Mathematics series of workshops with Catherine McCluskey. Educators will learn about noticing, wondering about, and engaging with the emerging languages of mathematics young children reveal through their play.
