If you are seeking to advance your career during 2018, DECD is offering professional development support to help you achieve national certification as lead or highly accomplished teachers.
Teachers who express interest in applying for national certification during Term 1 2018 will have the following benefits available to them:
- the application fee of $650 will be waived
- a professional development program will be offered
- participants can ask to be matched with a nationally certified teacher as a mentor (priority will be given to participants in category 1-3 sites)
- 2 funded release days will be allocated to each participant.
