Expressions of Interest for new Board members

Expresions of Interest are currently being accepted for new members to be appointed to the Teachers Registration Board.

New members will be appointed by the Govenor to begin a three-year term on July 1, 2021.


The Minister for Education is seeking expressions of interest for appointment as a Board member of the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia for a term of up to three years, commencing from 1 July 2021.   The Teachers Registration Board will consist of not less than 10, and not more than 14 members, appointed by His Excellency the Governor.   Collectively, board members will have knowledge, skills and experience in the areas of teacher education and matters affecting employers of practising teachers. Teachers, pre-service teachers, higher education providers, legal practitioners, those with experience in corporate and public sector governance and parents of current school students may be interested in applying. I welcome applicants from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and from every stage of life.  All persons appointed will be subject to a Working With Children Check.
