In 2024 the Board launched a new Code of Conduct and accompanying Guidelines for all registered teachers, and unregistered special authorisation holders in South Australia.
The Code of Conduct ensures that teachers are professional, respectful, and accountable—both inside and outside the classroom—fostering trust, safety, and excellence in education.
The new Code of Conduct Video Series (to support the Code) was developed in 2025 and outlines the 4 key pillars.
